Welcome to Brak's Bullmastiff.com   Brak’s Bullmastiff was established in 1989 by my mother. She bought her first Bullmastiff bitch, Andrea, of our neighbours in 1986. Andrea was the foundation bitch of the Brak’s Bullmastiff kennel. As a child in a family where it all was about the dogs, taking care of the dogs, dogshows and not at least breeding and nursing the puppies, it came as no surprise that i was drawned to that kind of lifestyle. I was given my first Bullmastiff bitch in 1994. Or should I say - she picked me! Blackslate Mayflower Madame was her noble name, but on a daily basis she was called Maddy. She was a wonderfull bitch. Not particular pretty, and also not that correct, but with a set of high standard genes, lots of brain and a marveless temper. She has produced some of the best offsprings in the name of Brak’s Bullmastiff. In the year of 2000 my mom was considering to stop breeding Bullmastiff’s. The dogs were getting to strong for her, and she did not have any good breeding material, but she bought a bitch from a danish kennel named Bullhouse in 2002.. After all.. She could not let go of this wonderfull breed. Bullhouse Dina was her name. Dina is the one bitch that will mark the generation shift in the kennel from my mothers name and to my name.. 14 litters over a period of almost 20 years has my mother taken care of and nursed with love and care, the N litter was and is our only breeding that has both my name and my mothers name on their pedigree-my mom’s last litter, and my first. I look foreward to the next 20 years and hopefulle more, with this wonderfull breed. To me, a Bullmastiff is all that a dog owner can wish for: a good temper, strenght, independent,loving and devoted to it’s owner and leader...
