After the game the group will proceed to the next start-up, which is the hunt, and behind them the testmanager and the owner will show. The huntfield cinsist of about 7-9 poles, which is set in the ground by 8 meters between, between two rows about 2 meters away, so there can be a string in zig-zag between the poles.

At the string there will be tied a white cloth, which is located 20 meters from where the owner is asked to stand with the dog.  At the testmanager’s mark, the string will be pulled away from the dog, around the poles in zig-zag, by a describer that hides a bit behind the last pole. At the testmanager’s mark, the owner will be asked to unleash the dog. The dog may not have any command at this test,
because we only want to see if the dog starts a hunt on the cloth of its own. Not by all breeds, a hunt is wanted. A shepherd dog schould show a little desire to hunt, if it should drive a flock, but we see, however, that many do not run after it.

Some other breeds, the desire to hunt is very wanted, and some breeds should not have such great desire to hunt. There will be described, whether the dog runs after the cloth and if the dog grabs it. The moment will always be done twice, because we also wants to see whether the interest rises or falls.
