Surprise (visual): |

The workingsuit will be held still without any movements, and you can now describe the dogs reactions. From when the workingsuit jumps up and the next minute, you describe the dogs scare reactions, threats/aggressiveness and curiosity. If the dog hasn’t searched the workingsuit with physical contact within the first 15 seconds, it will be given 45 seconds more, before you interrupt the moment. In these 45 seconds the owner will be asked to help the dog in the three different stages. At first, the owner walks half the way towards the workingsuit, then right up in front of the workingsuit, and finally the owner talks to the workingsuit. If the dog hasn’t had any contact 1 minute after the workingsuit has been pulled up, you will, while the dog is taken behind the flock, put the workingsuit down and then bring it up to get it to investigate the workingsuit with help from the owner. The dog must be praised and supported when taking contact. ![]() Areaction: When the dog has had contact, the workingsuit will discreetly be pulled up without the dog notice it, and the owner will now be asked to walk with the dog in a long leash, back and forth on the right side of the workingsuit and tripod in about 3 meters distance. They shall walk a route in about 10 steps back and forth three times, in order to describe, whether the dog is done with the experience, or whether there are remaining discomfort. If the dog takes physical contact with the workingsuit within the first minute, the workingsuit will not be put down, but you’ll go directly to the abreaction. The abreaction will be described in the table. |
